Marantz is keeping up with the current movement towards networked digital music sources with it’s NA7004 networked music player. This player appears to have the audiophile audience in mind. It's a DNLA certified digital media player and digital media renderer that will simplify the task of playing back files from home computers. The proprietary output stage technology featuring Marantz HDAMs and power supplies means you can expect to get high quality audio.
The NA7004 will allow playback of a wide variety of file music file formats including MP3, WMA, WMA lossless, AAC and FLAC. Playback can be performed via your network or directly from an attached USB drive.
The NA7004 is expected to be available for $799 US.
