Though you may have not yet heard about HDBaseT, it has been out in the news for some time. The HDBaseT Alliance was formed to promote and commercialize the HDBaseT technology. This technology is aimed at enabling a single LAN cable to replace multiple cables and connectors in the home entertainment environment. These write-once Blu-ray discs will be available in Japan beginning July 30th, 2010.
